Milk Processing




There is a lot of product that you can do with the milk. Today I’ll share to you how to pasteurize milk and  make pastillas de leche. First you have to prepare all your materials and ingredients.

Materials: ( for pasteurizing milk)
Pan
Gas Stove
Wooden Ladle
Basin
Wax Paper
Refrigerator
Box

Ingredients:
Fresh Milk – 1L
White Sugar – 1 ½ cup

After preparing the above needed youll then proceed the process. First make sure that the pan is clean. Then place it to the stove, remember that in pasteurizing milk you have to use the LTLT it is Low Temperature Long Time.  If the pan is already hot pour the fresh milk on it then leave it just there. Do not mix it until you see that the upper layer form a plastic like texture.
After pasteurizing the milk you can now proceed to making the pastillas de leche. You just add 1 ½ cup of sugar. After adding sugar you have to stir it continuously to have equal and fine texture. You will know that it is already done when it is sticky, then you can take the pan out in the stove and pour the pastillas de leche in the basin and cool it for sometimes. Then you’ll have to refrigerate it for some hours. After that you can now wrap this into the wax paper. Then put it to the box for the packaging. That’s all thank you. See you on my next my blog.
